Presentation

The workshop "Obstetric violence and the humanization of childbirth: Franco-Mexican dialogues", in partnership with the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Santé Publique (EHESP), aims to provide a forum for meetings and exchanges between France and Mexico on social science research issues relating to maternal and perinatal health. The aim of the event is to bring together French researchers, mainly from the Paris region, and Mexican researchers, with a view to building transatlantic scientific cooperation in this area.

These round tables will be organised around two major issues linked to the humanisation of childbirth: this workshop will be an opportunity to discuss obstetric violence and non-violent care alternatives.
