Presentation
The water cycle is a natural phenomenon that is essential to the balance of ecosystems. But in port areas, its management is becoming a strategic issue in the face of the challenges of climate change, multiple uses and environmental impacts.
This round table offers an in-depth look at the evolution of the water cycle in the Seine estuary, highlighting its role in the global ecosystem and its local impact, the challenges linked to water management (uses, infrastructures, biodiversity and ecological restoration) and the interactions between environmental issues and economic dynamics.
