Tine Destrooper, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law and Criminology Ghent University and 2024-2025 research-fellow at the Paris IAS, received a European Research Council (ERC) Proof of Concept Grant
Her project, "RedressHub: Colonial Legacies and Redress", will connect people and data through an innovative online platform, providing a comprehensive interactive resource that maps initiatives to address problematic colonial legacies across Europe.
Created in 2007, the ERC Proof of Concept grant facilitates the exploration of the potential of projects that stimulate innovation and address societal challenges. Awarded to 134 projects in this second round on 25 January 2025, these grants are part of the European Union's research and innovation programme, Horizon Europe. This year, the ERC Proof of Concept Grants were awarded to researchers from 20 different European countries.
