Presentation

The research aims to reflect on the physical representation of the most extreme passions, such as anger, in the mythical imaginary of the ancients and to conceptualise it as a gendered scenario; the intention is to reason about the possibility of constructing a synaesthetic catalogue that allows us to recognise a gendered quality in the representation of extreme passions. The final aim is to define a milieu of investigation useful for reflecting on the representation of female anger and rage in the contemporary world.
