Two former IEA Research Fellows have recently received a Consolidator grant from the European Research Council: Raluca Grosescu, for her project Transnational Advocacy and Corporate Accountability for Major International Crimes, and Tatiana Theodoropoulou, for her project MERMAID Marine Ecosystems, Animal Resources and Human Strategies in Ancient Mediterranean: Integrated Studies on Natural and Societal Resilience.

The ERC "Consolidator" grants aim to support projects of excellence in Europe, as part of the Horizon 2020 research and innovation program. Thanks to this support, beneficiaries have the opportunity to build their teams and have a far-reaching impact. The proposed research projects cover a wide range of topics in physical sciences and engineering, life sciences, and social sciences and humanities. The winners will carry out their projects in universities, research centers and companies in 23 different European countries.

Raluca grosescu received support from the Paris Institute for Advanced Study and the Labex RFIEA+ for the preparation of her project.

Congratulations to both of them
