Presentation by Marco Mostert (2018-2019 Paris IAS fellow) as part of the Semaines d'études médiévales organized by the CESCM

Presentation of the event

Since 1954, the Centre d'études supérieures de civilisation médiévale has been organizing an annual international Francophone training session, which brings together some forty students, doctoral students and young researchers, both French and foreign. Conferences, working sessions on documentary resources, excursions and visits to the trainees' programme are offered by specialists from the Middle Ages from all over the world.

This unique interdisciplinary event has helped to build and strengthen a solid national and international network in the field of medieval studies over the past 50 years.
