"A strategic meeting of E-READ was held on 9-11 April, 2018, at the Institute for Advanced Studies of Paris. The participants were: Anne Mangen, Adriaan van der Weel, Anezka Kuzmikova, Sasha Schröder, Berit Johnsen, and Miha Kovac. The discussions were focused on the final conference of E-READ and on the Stavanger declaration.
The local organizer was Massimo Salgaro, who was there with a fellowship on a project on literary empathy. The Paris Institute for Advanced Study (Paris IAS) is a research centre in the field of the humanities and social sciences. The Institute is located on the Île St. Louis at Hôtel de Lauzun, a 17th-century hôtel particulier owned by the City of Paris.
