Présentation

Cultural heritage is an essential component of every country`s identity and its people´s, this has naturally enforced the importance of its protection as a main component of every society. Nevertheless it has always been under threat, destruction or vandalism both intentionally and unintentionally, in fact, due to its importance, cultural heritage sites have always been targets for criminal groups.
In this context, the Swedish Institute Alexandria is inviting a group of archaeologists from Iraq/ Syria/ Yemen and Libya to share their experiences with us and their stories from home.
