The Paris IASis an advanced research institute but also a collegial place for transdisciplinary and intersectoral conversation where major scientific and societal problems are openly explored.

Since its creation, the Paris IAS has granted fellowships to more than 250 researchers of 45 nationalities, working in 26 disciplines and coming from 169 prestigious inter-national institutions. More than 700 publications have been made possible by these research fellowships.

A major objective this year: to encourage exchanges, across disciplinary borders, between these researchers of different nationalities and cultures.
