After training in business and administrative management at Tours IUT GEA (the Institute of Technology for business and administrative management), topped off with a vocational certificate in sole accounting from CNAM, Nadège Bourgeois first worked as an accounting assistant, then as an accounting manager in companies in the emerging technology and insurance sectors (Prima Solutions, EsearchVision, Assurland). In November 2016, she joined the IEA as a sole accountant.

Nadège Bourgeois is responsible for the Institute's entire accounting system, which involves monitoring the cash position and annual budgets, developing partner agreements and grant applications, as well as invoicing. She is also responsible for the administrative and financial management of human resources, establishing employment contracts, allocation agreements, pay slips and social contribution declarations.

She has been appointed Secretary General of the Institute in April 2023.
