Presentation
Today it is not possible to think about the human—or aspects of humanness such as identity, citizenship, behavior, cognition, knowledge, or relationships to other living beings and environments—without considering the role that technologies play in the so-called "constitution of the human." This project aims to define this concept and establish its significance with reference to the present and by tracing its history to the formation of the new field of Science, Technology and Society (STS).
