Presentation
After having initiated at the Paris IAS in 2021 an international research collaboration based on a new view of active information, we argue that a core challenge for designing the future of work at the human-technology frontier arises from an unquestioned view of information systems as passive tools rather than active partners. Designing technologies to augment human performance by enabling human-technology partnership is the unifying theme of our Collaboratory for Design of Information Work (CDIW).
